Milestone Sessions: What Are They?
A milestone session documents key moments in your baby’s first year. Whether it’s tummy time at three months, sitting up around six to nine months, or celebrating a first birthday, each session highlights your baby’s rapid development and unique personality.
When Should I Schedule?
3–4 Months: Capture those first smiles, bright eyes, and tummy-time moments.
6–9 Months: A wonderful stage to photograph as your baby learns to sit up, crawl, and show off their blossoming personality.
12 Months: Celebrate a first birthday with a cake smash or a sweet, simple portrait session.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY BABY'S MILESTONE SESSIONS?
Popular ages are 3-4 months (holding their head up), 6-8 months (sitting up), 9-10 months (crawling or pulling to stand), and 12 months (that big first birthday!). But every baby is different, so we can plan around your little one’s unique progress.
CAN WE INCLUDE SIBLINGS OR PARENTS IN THE PHOTOS?
Absolutely! Family snuggles and sibling giggles are always welcome. Including loved ones adds an extra layer of warmth to your gallery.
WHAT IF MY BABY IS FUSSY OR NEEDS A NAP?
No worries! Babies run the show, and we roll with it. If they need a quick feeding, diaper change, or cuddle break, we take it. A relaxed baby makes for the best photos. When we schedule the session, we'll plan around their nap schedule to make sure your babe is feeling nice & rested.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE SESSION?
Personalized Setups
I offer simple props, cozy blankets, and age-appropriate backdrops that focus on your baby’s joyful expressions.
Child-Led Posing
Babies have their own ideas about how a photo shoot should go! I keep it flexible, going at your child’s pace to ensure genuine smiles and comfort.
Family Inclusion
Parents and siblings are welcome. Capturing these interactions helps tell the complete story of your growing family.
HOW LONG DOES A MILESTONE SESSION LAST?
Most sessions run about 45 minutes to an hour. That’s usually just enough time for outfit changes, play breaks, and plenty of sweet smiles—without tiring out your little superstar.
